Earthquake Sound Will Launch IQ-52: iPod®/MP3 POWERED TWO CHANNELS AUDIO VIDEO SYSTEM.

CEDIA 2008.

Hayward, CA, September, 2008 – Earthquake Sound Corporation released a miniature size powered speaker system that sounds like an orchestra while occupying only inches of space. The newly released IQ-52 powered speaker system allows the user to dock an iPod®, iPhone®, or other MP3 player on top of the speaker to provide an input signal. Dressed to kill, the IQ-52 is finished with high gloss piano lacquer available in black and white.

Acoustically, the IQ-52B/IQ-52W are equipped with a 5” carbon fiber full range speaker system for accurate reproduction of the bandwidth. As for the high frequencies, the IQ-52 relies on a 1” silk NEO speaker for better accuracy. This two-speaker system is vented through the back for more bass reflex and is powered by an Earthquake 200-Watt amplifier. Also, the newly released iQuake system can be expanded for 2.1 applications by adding a MiniMe series subwoofer (P8 or P8W).

IQ-52 systems come with a wireless remote control for ease of operation through out the home or office. The remote control allows the user to switch between three audio input sources as well as processing the video output of an iPod®, iPhone® or an MP3 player.

The system accepts and charges iPod® and MP3 players. Most devices will easily doc on top and for those that do not, several connection devices are included to secure and dock assorted models. Other digital devices connect via the rear auxiliary input, while an S-Video out allows user to view videos from devices on external monitors. The iQuake system comes with an IR remote and is ready to rock as the device is docked.

“It is our first iPod® speaker system and quite affordable, the iQuake speakers give listeners immense bang for their buck,” said Joseph Sahyoun, President of Earthquake Sound. “and because they fuse premium components, carbon fiber speakers, high quality piano lacquer, a small footprint and the convenience of a remote control, this system design should be in a class of its own,” he added.

The iQuake line includes two models which are available in high gloss piano black or white lacquer. Models include: IQ-52W (white) and IQ-52B (black).

For additional information on the news that is the subject of this release, contact Jean-Paul Lefebvre or visit www.earthquakesound.com. These products will be available October 2008. MSRP for both IQ-52W and IQ-52B is $399.00

Cinénova Grande. A Power House That’s Built to Last.

CEDIA 2008.

Hayward, CA, September, 2008 – Earthquake Sound Corporation, a world renowned manufacturer of high-performance loudspeakers and entertainment products, delivers the Cinénova Grande line of amplifiers with more power, more input options and wider bandwidth than its predecessor.

On power, it is rated to produce 300 WRMS into 8-ohms, 500 WRMS into 4Ω and a whopping 1000 WRMS into 2Ω - 5 or 7 channels. While these power rating are incredibly high, actual measurements showed 360 WRMS into 8, 660 WRMS into 4, and a 1000WRMS into 2-ohms. While power rating is what makes this amplifier the one to go to for home theater and music. The newly designed MATDRIVE allows it to idle with a mere 0.6 ampere. This is ten times less current than any other amplifier on the market.

The Cinénova Grande’s ability to smack speakers around is partially attributed to its unbelievable damping factor. In 8-ohms, the damping factor was over 1600. 4-ohms over 800 and 2-ohms well over 400. A high damping factor is crucial to control the voice coil movement during operation. It is said that a damping factor of a100 is acceptable; well, how about 1600?

With seven monster-outputs sticking out of its 40-pound brain, the Cinénova Grande power supply has the honest but freaky look of Frankenstein. Bi-filer transformers insure the listener impeccable separation that delivers clean consent rated power that won't share with other channels. The Cinénova power supply is capable of delivering 3.6KVA while your home outlet has 1.5KVA into 110 Volts and 3KVA into 220 Volts.

The input stage of this amplifier has a crossover designed for bi-amplifier applications. The signal stage can use RCA input as well as XLR. A switch is used to toggle between the two inputs to ensure higher signal to noise ratio.

Earthquake's New FF12, A New Benchmark in Value Driven Performance

Front Firing & Ported, The FF12 Models Bring Power, Style and Earthquake Sound to Home Theaters and AV Systems

CES '07, LAS VEGAS, Jan. 8, 2007 — Earthquake Sound Corp, the premier manufacturer of high-performance audio solutions for use in home music and audio/video systems, aftermarket and OEM automotive systems, and custom built-in audio systems, introduces a new Powered Subwoofer at the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show.

The new FF12 Subwoofer features a 400-watt built-in amplifier and several advantages over other company's subwoofers. Most notable feature is that it is front firing, front-ported and very easy to install.

The FF12 employs deep-bumped back motor structure that allows extended excursion with increased bass response. The patented TCT © ( Turbine Cooled Transducer ) Technology increases efficiency and eliminates distortion. A 24dB/octave low-pass filter delivers an accurate crossing that prevents it from being easily localized, increasing placement flexibility. Also provided are variable crossovers, phase controls, rear-panel line and speaker level inputs.

Equally exciting is the new look it represents in Earthquake subs — a clean, contemporary style that is more consistent with the look and feel of the company's other products, visually more compatible with modern interiors. The new style enclosure offers a smaller footprint, but slightly higher; this produces a larger enclosure performance. The front side allows the user to access the volume control knob without messing up the phase and the crossover settings. These latter controls were placed on the backside to limit the users from tampering with the setting. The FF12 is available in black ash veneer finish.

The FF12 Powered Subwoofer features a large 12-inch deep bumped woofer, TCT © technology, a powerful 400-watt amplifier in a ported enclosure, and a frequency response (+/-3dB) of 20Hz-125Hz. The volume control is conveniently located in front of the cabinet but hidden behind the grille so the subwoofer remains flush to the eye.

Of course, it delivers Earthquake Sound, a renown trait of Earthquake Sound's speaker systems that reproduces music and movie sound with exceptional accuracy, as artists intend with a brilliant neutral tonal body that remains the same for all Earthquake speakers.

Earthquake's new Powered Subwoofers will be available in the first half of 2007 from authorized Earthquake dealers, carrying an MSRP of $799 . They can be seen with Earthquake Sound's other fantastic products in Booth# 20532, South Hall, Las Vegas Convention Center , during the show.

Earthquake to Re-release the Titan High FidelityHome Theater Package.

Las Vegas, NV– Nova Audio by Earthquake Sound, manufacturer of high-end Home audio subwoofers, amplifiers and more steps it up in 2005 with an over the top set of towers and a center channel that play as smooth as the wind in you hair. With each tower’s five drivers and the centers seven drivers this battalion of sound surrounds it’s audience prepared to hold all listeners captive while it slowly breaks down each level of your listening senses.

Nova’s full spectrum 2005 Titan surround speakers and center channel take Nova’sgroundbreaking passive technology and infamous power to new levels of performance and functionality. The sleek, distinctively styled towers utilize a fully passive enclosure ensuring accurate and fastresponse, incorporating five drivers which can be separately amplified (biampable). Each driver excludingthe tweeter is made with Nova’s new silk coated pulp mix for low mass movementand ultimate accuracy.Included in each tower is a 1.5" silk dome tweeter, a 5.25" silk coated high precision mid-range, a silkcoated tight eight inch mid-bass driver, two silk coated high power 12" drivers and a 15" patented SLAPSpassive radiator. Mounted on the back of the towers are the amplification terminals which are hooked upto the giant cross over that allows the towers to be either powered as a whole or biampable.

Titan’s center channel remains a silhouette in the dark yet sparks dramatic life into the vocals of any movieor sound track when called to work. This 124lb piece of art lives up to it’s appearance by offering seven drivers that enhance and amplify vocal and mid-range sounds to their max potential, allowing you mind to believe it may have traveled to the very place that the sound originated from. Topping the ridge of the center channel are three 1.5" silk dome tweeters and the highest precision and supporting underneath are four 5.25" mid-range drivers reproducing in perfect harmony all that you mind can process.

Internally and externally the towers combine modern technology with good old fashioned hand crafted reliability. The cabinet is embraced with interlocking machine grooved panels that aid in the excellent damping and elimination of vibrations and colorization. Externally the finish is accomplished by wrapping 16 layers of steam bent cherry wood around the giant skeleton and topping it with a fine black lacquer crown that grips the two upper level drivers. The center channel with it’s oval shaped and aero dynamic cabinetry remains still yet appears to be in warp speed as it plays hard yet so effortlessly.

Both models offer an outstanding combination of superb sound, ease of use and operational flexibility, and their striking appearance makes them ideal for design-conscious consumers who want to integrate a true high-performance surround sound into a stylish and elegant home. Their massive size gives them a monumental appearance that not only puts out phenomenal sound but will put on a visual show that will have any one who crosses their path gazing in awe.

Earthquake Adds Another Weapon of Mass Destruction to It’s Amplifier Artillery

Las Vegas, NV– Nova Audio by Earthquake Sound, adds to the success of Cinenova amplifiers that was found early on with it’s award winning CineNova Grande 3 and 5-channel amps. This legacy of hard core amplifiers is carried into 2005 with an all new CineNova still packing the serious watts and at ridiculously low and high impedances the New CineNova Grande will offer 7-Channels of amplification and will be combined with all the nooks and crannies of the previous models.

We really believe that our electronics carry a strong yet subtle appearance that easily blends with audio racks or even living rooms. All the components feature the minimum in the way of buttons plus solid 4mm brushed aluminum front panels. These not only give the products a beautiful appearance and feel, but also ensure a very stable construction, further enhancing sound quality.

Cinenova Grande-7 The big difference between the new amp is that the previous models are five channel and three channel
limiting the potential of a serious enthusiasts dream. Now with the 7-Channel the possibilities have been expanded to the 7.1 surround, multiple subs, towers or what ever it is an installer or consumer may desire. With the use of two of these amps you could laterally open your own theater and charge people at the door.

Massive toroidal transformers and high-grade capacitors The CineNova 7 features over specified toroidal transformers and high-grade capacitors for extra stability and large reserves of power. As a result there's always enough current to keep a tight 'grip' on speakers. Even the most demanding transient peaks are reproduced with life-like accuracy and realistic dynamics.
Just one of the factors which distinguishes an excellent amplifier from merely a good one.

And icing the cake is that we only use the best connections, like XLR and banana clip connectors to ensure that there is always an excellent flow of current and sound is reproduced in it’s purest form.

Cinenova Power rating per channel:

(8-ohm load), all channels driven: 300 watts.
(4-ohm load), all channels driven: 600 watts.
