Universal Compatibility: Connecting to Any System
The FF12 is user-friendly and compatible with many audio setups. It has low-level (RCA) inputs, standard for modern AV receivers with Subwoofer/LFE outputs. If your pre-amplifier has only one Sub/LFE output, use a Y cable to connect it to the FF12 for a stronger signal. The FF12 also features high-level (speaker) inputs for older stereo amplifiers without dedicated subwoofer outputs. You can connect a wire from a front speaker to the subwoofer for an easy setup. Additionally, the FF12 includes Line Through (RCA) and Full-Range Speaker Level Outputs for connecting multiple subwoofers or sending audio signals to other speakers. The RCA line output also has a high-pass filter set at about 70Hz.
