Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Earthquake Sound. We strive to provide reliable and efficient shipping services to customers across the United States. Below is our standard shipping policy. Please review it carefully before placing your order. This policy is subject to change without notice, so we recommend checking back periodically.

Shipping Locations

We currently ship to all 50 states within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories (excluding Puerto Rico and Guam). International shipping is not available at this time and should be automatically rejected at checkout. If your order is somehow still shipped to an address outside the U.S., it will be automatically canceled and refunded.

Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays).

During peak periods (e.g., holidays, sales events), processing may take up to 3-5 business days.

You will receive a confirmation email with your order details and an estimated processing time upon purchase.

Shipping Methods and Carriers

We typically ship orders via UPS Ground. For larger items which exceed the weight limit for UPS Ground (150 lbs.), or products which may need extra attention and handling, we may ship your order using an LTL (less than truckload) shipping service. If your order ships LTL, we will contact you to set up a delivery appointment.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on carrier performance, weather, or other unforeseen events. Business days exclude weekends and major U.S. holidays (e.g., New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas).

We do not offer expedited shipping at this time. If something is needed urgently, consider contacting us directly.

Shipping Costs

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the weight, size, destination, and selected shipping method.

We offer free standard shipping on orders over $1000 within the continental U.S. (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and territories, where additional fees may apply).

All prices are in USD and include any applicable taxes (sales tax is calculated based on your shipping address).

Note: We do not cover duties, taxes, or customs fees for U.S. territories, as these are the responsibility of the recipient.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number and a link to monitor your package's progress.

Track your shipment directly through the carrier's website using the provided tracking ID.

If you do not receive tracking information within 3 business days of order confirmation, please contact our customer support at [your email/support contact].

Delivery and Signature Requirements

Most packages are delivered without a signature, but high-value items or expedited shipments may require one for security.

If you are not available to receive your package, the carrier may leave it at a safe location or with a neighbor, per their policies.

We recommend scheduling delivery to a secure location or using a signature option if needed.

Lost, Damaged, or Delayed Shipments

Lost Packages: If your package is lost in transit, contact us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. We will consult with the carrier and contact you with our findings.

Damaged Items: Inspect your package upon arrival. If damaged, take photos and contact us within 7 days for a replacement or refund. Do not discard the packaging, as it may be required for claims. A refund will not be issued until/unless the product is returned to us.

Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, strikes, or other events beyond our control (force majeure). 

Backorders and Out-of-Stock Items

If an item is out of stock, we will notify you via email and offer alternatives or a full refund.

Backordered items may ship separately, potentially incurring additional shipping fees (we will notify you in advance).

Changes to Shipping Address

Once an order is processed, changes to the shipping address are not guaranteed and may result in delays or additional costs.

To update your address, contact us immediately at cs@earthquakesound.com before processing begins.

Returns and Shipping

Our return policy outlines how to return items for a refund or exchange. Return shipping is typically the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective or we made an error.

For incorrect items shipped by us, we will provide a prepaid return label.
